Clube de Golfe da Ilha Terceira

TIGC has its own Training School where their young athletes have weekly classes. The training is provided by two professionals of the club, which are accounted for the esteemed quality of the school.

Over the years, TIGC’s Training School has been gaining prestige with members and former members winning national champion and vice champion awards, as well as with several regional champion awards (male and female).

Although the school is mainly targeted for the young, the Club also provides classes for any adult who wishes to start the golfing experience, simply having to schedule it at the club.

Externally partnering with the Azores Golf Association and the Regional Secretary of Sports, the Golf Club lends their golf professionals of TIGC to a project called “Escolinhas do Desporto” (Little Schools of Sport).  The project consists in the Golf Club Professionals giving weekly classes in some of the elementary schools of the region promoting golf among children.
